Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to interpret data and turn into information (reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations etc) which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions.

Job Description:

Successful candidate will be responsible for liaising between Product and Technology regarding data governance implementation for a respective Data Domain, activities to include identifying lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, data quality rules, assessing data controls, and investigating any data-related issues. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of attribute-level data lineage, critical data element decomposition, application performance and other measures to gain insight and drive data governance planning and data remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with Product and Technology partners and stakeholders

• Manage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Client Services.

• Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement client Data Governance Data Policies

• Responsible for data quality validation and remediation from root cause analysis through remediation planning and providing input to Product and Technology based on analysis of information

• Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources

Qualifications:

• Hands‑on experience in DG & DQ implementation using Collibra or Alation

• Hands-on Experience with Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, Data Lineage

• Implementation of Data Profiling, DQ Controls, DQ Business Rules and DQ Dashboards & Alerts

• Good to know the Compliance Regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
