Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Oracle DBA with Azure devops and On Prem Exp. MUST(109866)

Oracle Server DBA 8-15 Yrs. overall exp with 3-5 years in Azure PaaS, and bit of Terraform skills. Candidate must be proficient in Advance performance tuning & trouble-shooting

• Performance tuning , security hardening, automation (PowerShell , Terraform, ARM /Bicep), HA/DR and cost optimization

Responsible for Pre-installation tasks, installing Oracle DB and Patch Mgmt.

Should have strong knowledge of Database Upgrade, Migration, Patch Installation, and Implementation.

Deploy and manage Terraform codes, ability to troubleshoot

Solid understanding of Ansible playbooks, ability to manage Ansible tower

Focus on automation through Ansible and Terraform

Responsible for installations and configuration of Oracle Database 12c/19c on Unix platform in standalone and RAC environment.

Specialized in Oracle RAC, good understanding of the complexity of RAC Architecture across Servers, OS, network, storage layer.

Troubleshooting node eviction.

Strong knowledge of ASM and disk management.

Strong Knowledge of RMAN Backup & recovery management and troubleshooting backup issues.

Strong Knowledge of AWR, ADDM reports, explain plan monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Should have SQL tuning skills and experience in refactoring SQL queries to improve performance.

Should have knowledge on Database Connectivity issues, slow response, operations timed out, Database incident and error resolution.

Azure cloud exposure in terms of portal navigation, core components, monitoring and bit of security

Excellent problem-solving skills should be able to transverse across infrastructure layers to diagnose issues.

Write and troubleshoot shell scripting, SQL and PL/SQL Scripts.

Work on High Priority Incidents , High change tickets and manage vendor problem tickets.

Proven experience in automation and orchestration and worked on automaton scenarios for one touch solutions

Experience in Devops, Terraform integration with Ansible knowledge and knowledge on Shell & PS Scripting is added advantage

Knowledge in Paas database maintenance ,Redis etc is added advantage

Cross functional in any other RDBMS (Microsoft SQL, Postgree SQL) or No SQL open source database is an plus

Complete ITIL knowledge and handling Problem management ticketing for database including providing RCA for Priority critical Incidents like P1,P2 by offering technical solutions to issues on Oracle database and attending severity calls with business is mandatory and must
