Position Title: Data Center Operations Lead
Domain: Data Center (DC), VMware ESXi, Storage, Backup

Role Summary:

Leads the data center tower, managing infrastructure operations including virtualization, storage, and backup systems.

Primary: Windows/Linux Server Administration with VMware ESXi & v Center Management (DC)

Secondary: Storage Systems (SAN/NAS) Administration

Tertiary: Enterprise Backup Tools (Veeam, Net Backup)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning, deployment, and maintenance of Wintel and Linux servers.

• Manage VMware ESXi environments and virtual infrastructure.

• Administer enterprise backup and storage systems.

• Lead the data center team and coordinate operational tasks.

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

• Monitor system performance and implement improvements.

• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.

• Experience with VMware, SAN/NAS storage, and backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Net Backup).

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and data center best practices.

• Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.

• Strong stakeholder management skills in both Japanese cultural contexts and global environments.

Typical Experience: 15+ years in IT infrastructure, with 5+ years in a leadership role
Language Requirements: Bilingual in Japanese and English
