Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Mainframe JD

7-12 Years’ experience in Design, Development and Enhancement in Legacy IBM Mainframe technologies

Mandatory strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and CICS

Experience in Niche skills like PL1, IMS, IDMS, Natural-Adabas, Assembler, Easytrieve etc. is preferred

Must have good understanding of production support, processes, tools, resolutions

Must be well versed with various tools and products including the schedulers, source version controllers, utilities etc.

Must have experience in performance optimization, API development, web-service development and implementation, and integration with z/OS connect

Must have knowledge of Devops and CI/CD pipeline implementation

Knowledge of modernization solutions for Legacy Mainframe Applications and movement to Cloud/Target technologies like Java, .Net, Python is a plus

Experience in modernization will be a plus

Knowledge of Cloud solutions and understanding of CSP and Partner ecosystem is a plus

Good knowledge of java and/or AI is a plus

Excellent communication skills, able to work independently as well as a teamplayer
