Job Description

The Developer L3 role at Wipro Technologies requires a strong foundation in software engineering with an emphasis on AI, machine learning, and deep learning systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle — from dataset grooming and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, tuning, and deployment in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models across supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning paradigms, including experimenting with generative AI models to elevate quality and performance.
• Implement and refine algorithms such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, Support Vector Machines, k-means clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, Generative Adversarial Networks, and transformer architectures.
• Manage the full machine learning project pipeline — data preprocessing, robust training, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation using relevant metrics like F1 score, accuracy, precision, and recall.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines and facilitate seamless deployment of models in scalable production environments.
• Continuously monitor and debug deployed models to ensure optimal functioning, implementing incremental improvements based on data and system feedback.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies for effective project management and delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, and computer vision projects or products.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in machine learning libraries such as Tensor Flow and Py Torch.
• A comprehensive understanding of mathematical and statistical principles underpinning machine learning, including statistics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, multimodal models, and tools like Lang Chain, Lang Graph, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Exposure to distributed systems and cloud computing platforms, emphasizing deployed, scalable AI services.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
