The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters
Job Description:
- We’re looking for a mid-level Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Consultant with hands-on experience in OBIEE and a proven track record of delivering modern analytics on OAC. The role involves migrating legacy OBIEE reports and RPDs to OAC, building scalable semantic models, enabling self-service data visualization, and optimizing performance/security in cloud environments.
You’ll partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality dashboards, governed data models, and automated data pipelines on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Required Qualifications & Skills

5–9 years in analytics focused on Oracle OAC/OBIEE (minimum 2-4 years in OAC).

Strong in semantic modeling(RPD or OAC Semantic Modeler),joins,hierarchies,time series,calculations, and security.

Hands-on with OAC DV,BI Publisher, and Catalog; ability to design clean, user-centric dashboards.

Proficiency with SQL (Oracle), performance tuning, and data sourcing (ADW/Autonomous DB, Oracle DB, Excel/CSV, REST).
-
Experience migrating from OBIEE 11g/12c to OAC, including RPD and catalog objects.

Familiarity with OCI services relevant to OAC (Network, Data Gateway, IDCS).

Key Responsibilities
OAC Development & Modeling
-
Build and enhance datasets, semantic models (Semantic Modeler/RPD), dashboards, and visualizations in OAC DV.
-
Design and implement row-level and object-level security, usage tracking, and catalog governance.
-
Create BI Publisher reports, schedules, and bursting for operational reporting.
OBIEE → OAC Migration
-
Migrate OBIEE RPDs, catalog objects, and prompts to OAC; modernize dashboards in DV while maintaining business logic.
-
Remediate functional gaps (narratives, custom scripts) and optimize for cloud scalability.
-
Use BAR exports/imports, data model conversion tools, and catalog migration best practices.
Data Integration & Pipelines
-
Connect OAC to on-prem and cloud sources via Data Gateway, JDBC, REST, and files.
-
Collaborate on ELT workflows (ODI/OAC datasets/Autonomous Data Warehouse).

Implement data refresh schedules, job monitoring, and failure handling.
Performance & Optimization
-
Tune queries, caching, aggregates, and sources for large datasets.
-
Diagnose performance bottlenecks using Usage Tracking, session logs, and visual analyzer performance tools.
Security & Cloud Administration
-
Configure IDCS/OAuth/SAML for authentication and role-based access control.
-
Manage environments, service consoles, snapshots/BAR, and promote changes across DEV/UAT/PROD.
Stakeholder Engagement
-
Gather requirements, translate into analytics deliverables, and build training/adoption materials.

Work in agile sprints, provide demos, documentation, and support UAT.
