Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyse, identify, rectify & recommend specific improvement measures that help in the security posture of the organization by protecting the sensitive information

AWS Security Services͏

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in cloud computing engineering & implementations (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, security)
• Overall, 5-9 years of experience as an Implementation Engineer in either a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  Preferred qualifications:
• Design and deploy secure AWS, and landing zone for multiple clients, following AWS best practices and compliance requirements.
• Configure and deploy AWS security services (IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield, Guard Duty, Security Hub, Macie, Inspector, CloudTrail, Config).
• Implementation of Service Control Polices and Guardrails
• Implement network security controls (Security Groups, NACLs, VPC endpoints, VPNs).
• Establish AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles for users and groups & providing security administration for AWS services.
• Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively on AWS Platform
• Good policies build experience with security tools like AWS Guard Duty, Inspector, CloudTrail, WAF, CloudWatch, Port Forwarding, Path base routing etc
• Leads and directs the workforce in problem identification, problem solving and implementing continuous improvement measures through innovation.
• Change/Incident Management performing duties such as monitoring, automation, deployment, documenting and support and troubleshooting.
• Implement controls to meet compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

AWS Certified Associate/Professional/Security – Specialty
