Android App Dev for Embedded Devices

• As infotainment senior developer, you can design and implement software components both in application and service layer.

• Analyze and fix the issues reported by validation team.

• Responsible to interact with team spread across multiple geography and get faster on time solution to the problems reported

Mandatory Skills:

• Good understanding of Android architecture and Android HAL Layer

• 5+ experience in Android development.

• 10 years+ Embedded domain.

• Understanding of Automotive SoC architecture(application processor and Vehicle processor)

• Experience in Android code base

• Application layer (Java/Kotlin), JNI, Native frameworks

• Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, IPC mechanisms.

• Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging

• Programming experience preferably in Java, Kotlin

• • Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android

• Tools: Android source build system, Android debugging tools.

Good to have:

• C++ experience

• Application development for Android Infotainment systems covering following areas

• Navigation, Connectivity (Wi Fi, BT), Projection (Android Auto, Carplay)

• Knowledge of GIT, JIRA

• Experience in RTOS e.g., QNX.

• Understanding of Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems
