Technical Skills

Grafana Enterprise/Open Source, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Elasticsearch, Linux, Windows, SQL, APIs, ITIL, Monitoring & Observability concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform L2 troubleshooting for monitoring incidents and platform issues.

• Design, modify and maintain Grafana dashboards and visualizations.

• Optimize alerting rules, thresholds and notification channels.

• Support Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Elasticsearch and cloud monitoring integrations.

• Analyze logs, metrics and traces for root cause identification.

• Perform platform upgrades, patch validation and configuration management.

• Create knowledge articles, SOPs and operational runbooks.

• Support major incidents and problem management activities.

• Mentor L1 engineers and review operational quality.

• Support automation and observability transformation initiatives.

AI-Infused Responsibilities

• Use GenAI/Copilot tools for log summarization and incident analysis.

• Leverage AI-driven anomaly detection and predictive insights.

• Develop AI-assisted operational reports and executive summaries.

• Identify recurring patterns and recommend proactive fixes.

• Support intelligent alert correlation and noise reduction activities.

Role Purpose

Provide Level-2 support for Grafana-based observability platforms, perform advanced troubleshooting, dashboard engineering, alert optimization, integration support, automation and AI-assisted operational analytics

Experience

3–6 years of experience in Observability, Monitoring, AIOps or Enterprise Monitoring platforms.

Certifications

Grafana certification, Cloud certifications, ITIL Foundation (preferred).

KPIs

MTTR reduction, platform availability, alert quality, dashboard adoption, automation efficiency, SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.

Provide consulting leadership to accounts
• Support GCG Account Lead/Account team to grow consulting service portfolio
• Number & $ value of consulting deals in the account supported

Grow the consulting talent
• Grow skills and capabilities to deliver consulting engagements in new industries, business themes, frameworks, technologies
• Self Development

• Min 32 hrs on training in a year. Combination of online and classroom on new industries, new business themes, new technologies, new frameworks, etc.
