The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Solar Winds Engineer

• Job Description

1. Install, configure, and maintain Solar Winds platform (NPM, NCM, SAM, Net Flow).
2. Design and implement network monitoring solutions for LAN, WAN, and DC environments.
3. Perform device onboarding, SNMP/WMI configuration, and monitoring template setup.
4. Create dashboards, alerts, reports, and performance thresholds for proactive monitoring.
5. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot incidents and outages.
6. Integrate Solar Winds with ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now) for alert‑to‑ticket automation., onboarding devices to Solar Winds
7. Perform upgrades, patching, backups, and health checks of Solar Winds environment.
8. Analyze trends and provide capacity planning and optimization recommendations.
9. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and monitoring standards for operations teams.
10. Collaborate with network/security teams and support operations where required for the Network build team.
