TEST ENGINEER L1

Job Description

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support testing activities by preparing initial test data, assist in unit testing and documenting results as per defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work queues of bug reports generated on internal apps to ensure a strong finalproduct for public release.

• Reproduce reported bugs to ensure engineers have a comprehensive, detailedreport in order to fix bugs most effectively.Understand and communicate product launch risk and severity of issues topartners

• Meticulously document findings Communicate effectively with cross functional partners in Operations and Product Develop test cases and scenarios in order to pinpoint the root cause of productbugs

• Collaborate with team members on both general and product specific issues.

Skills

• General knowledge of user experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Outstanding curiosity and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency

• Familiar with iOS and Android platforms is a bonus

• Experience with test cases also a bonus
