About the role

Job Description

Job responsibilities:

· Installation and Maintenance of all Teamcenter Environments using Deployment Centre.

· Teamcenter Server Administration, Packaging, Deployment using CI/CD pipelines and advanced Monitoring.

· Hands on experience in Teamcenter upgrades.

· Experience in Teamcenter server backup, migration activities ( Production Release and rollouts), system backup, Smoke Testing.

· Good understanding of Nagios application monitoring tool.

· Good knowledge on Solr indexing and issue fixing.

· Very good experience in handling customer teams and working at customer location.

· Prior experience of leading a Teamcenter Admin team.

· Work with customer teams to set up and maintain the monitoring tools like EZ monitoring, Torx, Grafana for generating meaningful Events and effective rules for filtering and correlating

· Prior experience with Teamcenter application monitoring and understanding of Teamcenter architecture and components to be monitored

· Perform regular system upgrades and patches to ensure Nagios infrastructure remains up-to-date and secure.

· Collaborate with other IT/Project/Development/Migration teams for various production activities and issues.

· Create and maintain documentation related to Teamcenter configurations, procedures, and best practices.

· Detect and respond to events and incidents proactively.

· Good understanding and experience on ITIL processes, knowledge management, Continuous Improvements.

Skills required:

· University degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar

· Good English communication skills both written and verbal is a must. Desirable to have good German knowledge skills

· Good PLM domain knowledge.

· MS Office integration, Document Management, Reports/Search, User Management, License Management.

· Handling certificates renewal on web server.

· Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, Jira, GitHub etc

· Defines activities to analyze, tune and monitor various environments for optimal performance and stability.

· Good knowledge in the set up and maintenance of development, test and production environments, as well as promote to production activities.

· Understanding of ITSM processes is essential like incident management, service management, knowledge management, continuous improvement, problem management etc.

Nice to have:

· Knowledge on database administration, querying database (Oracle / MSSQL).

· Knowledge on managing scheduled /cron jobs

· Certification in Teamcenter or related technologies.

· Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
