JD – Performance Testing

• Must be hands-on in scripting. High proficiency in Performance Test Scripting via Load Runner for the common protocols

• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate with stakeholders and SMEs to elicit requirements, produce plans and reports, and work with SMEs to aid in the tuning and defect resolution process

• Strong leadership skills – ability to lead a team of performance test analysts and providing mentoring / coaching where required

• Strong performance analysis skills – ability to assess performance testing results and monitoring metrics to isolate performance bottlenecks and aid project SMEs determine root cause analysis of performance issues

• Good proficiency in SQL and programming. Interpret a Performance Test Plan to understand the required scope of performance testing

• Develop performance testing scripts using HP Performance Center (Load Runner) to simulate transactions

• Analyse data requirements and develop a strategy for the provisioning of the required test data

• Develop load profiles and test scenarios as specified in the Performance Test Plan

• Implement monitoring solutions to monitor servers, databases and other components in scope
