Role Purpose
The Practitioner Sales Manager is accountable for sales and driving profitable growth in one or more customers for a practice by developing and maintaining strategic relationships.
Background to the role:
The Data, Analytics and AI Executive leader, who can help build solutions and practice on AI, focused on the Technology industry vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- At least 10+ years of enterprise experience in Data Platform or Data Engineering or Business Intelligence or Advanced Analytics
- 2+ years of experience in AI and / or Cloud platforms like Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform or AWS or Azure
- Ability to build expertise in the AI domain specially focused on the Technology Industry Vertical
- Build Strong Customer Relationships and Credibility as a thought leader.
- Engage with the CDOs / CXOs / Senior Stakeholders and business owners to influence Data / Analytics Strategy
- Collaborate closely with Global teams to develop proposals, presentations and proactively recommend strategies to grow data / analytics business in existing & new logo accounts.
- Work with Account / Sales teams to be part of the pre-sales process with clients and provide data & analytics subject matter expertise throughout the opportunity lifecycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal
- Provide thought leadership & transformation recommendations in various technology areas.
- Able to execute short term and midterm strategic consulting projects, assessments, POC/pilots, map solutions to client business processes, and develop value proposition and business case
- Past experience in positioning and delivery of large data transformation programs
- Understanding of technology and vertical platforms (preferably Hi-Tech, technology) in order to strategize & craft solutions (along with pre-sales teams) to match customer needs
- Self-starter that can work both as an individual contributor and team seller
Qualifications and Expectations
- Consulting Experience: $5-$10M revenue in Data, Analytics & AI engagements
- Role will be a more towards consultative sales and building industry capability in AI, along with Delivery oversight.
- Education: Bachelor degree
- Ideally has 15+ years of relevant business experience gained within a large Consulting or SI organizations as either a consultant and/or sales professional
- Must possess deep Data or Analytics or AI experience.
- Client orientated possessing a strong commercial and business acumen
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills; with the ability to structure and facilitate workshops and develop business cases for large deals
- Actual multi-regional or multi-organization experience is a key success factor, with demonstrated capacity to operate and thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
- Outstanding communication (written and oral), collaboration, flexible, results oriented, interpersonal and leadership skills
Should be able to work with and manage multiple stakeholders internal and external.
