Sr. Network Engineer JD (8 years to 10 years experience)

Skill Required:

• Hands on experience in various networking products such as

➢ Hands on experience on Network Engineer – Routing and Switching

➢ Cisco Meraki- Security Appliances, Switches and Wireless Access point

➢ Cisco- Routers and Switches

➢ Fortigate Firewall

➢ Endpoint authentication and authorization tools like Cisco ISE

➢ Network management & Monitoring tools like Cisco Prime, PRTG

• Strong experience in Network Technologies like BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VPC, VDC, VRF, VRRF, HSRP, VLAN, STP.

• Provide Level- 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues within SLA.

• Basic understanding of WAN technologies IPsec, Client Meraki VPN and Zone-based Firewalls

• Basic understanding of cloud related technologies like AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle etc.

• Experience working with third party vendors, ISP's, IP address management

• Strong knowledge of networking, understanding of packet flow and TCP session establishment

• Knowledge and hands on with security technologies like Remote Access VPN , Site to Site VPN , Intranet based VPN, Extranet based VPN, Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) ,Transport mode, Tunneling mode ,Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) ,Point–to–Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP),SSL and TLS, OpenVPN

• Strong understanding of network security practices and patch management

• Able to work independently and efficiently on 24/7 support environment

• Develop and maintain architecture topology diagrams in Visio and documents.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network products like Meraki security appliance, Cisco Router, Meraki & Cisco switches, Cisco ISE, AWS and Azure Cloud networking

• Should be able to manage technical issues in front of the customer

• Able to manage multiple sites , provide technical solutions , Preparing Plan of Action , Technical suggestions

• Actively participate in all the Major Incidents • Responsible to work within SLA for Incident, Problem and Changes

• Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager.

• Responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis of Faults and providing corrective Actions

• Regular IOS upgradation and hotfixes

• Responsible for implementing best practice/hardening.

• Planning Major changes in the network and own the task till closure.

• Managing and monitoring of log files of Cisco, Meraki network devices

• Capacity planning of the network devices with proper recommendations.

• Providing Service Improvement Plans in the existing setup, identifying Risks.

• Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports • Escalation and coordination with stakeholders/ vendors for issue resolution wherever required.

• Prepare and maintain Setup related documentation, operational and system documentation

• Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents.

• Secure Shell (SSH)

• Troubleshoot issues, Technical Analysis and conclusion

• Ability to work under pressure and stressful scenarios.

• Ability to communicate and report network security incidents and issues to the next level • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP are recommended
