Job Description

Oracle JD –

• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle database systems Oracle 10, 11g, 12c

• Strong Experience in managing large databases, partitioning, Data warehouse experience

• Configure / Troubleshoot Oracle replication (Oracle GG)

• Hands-on knowledge in Oracle DB Migration

• Monitor servers through Oracle OEM

• Experience in executing DR activities, database upgrades and patching along with all the regular database maintenance activities.

• Should have worked with backup appliance zfs & zba configuration

Exadata JD

• Applying QFSP Patches

• Proficient with Oracle Exadata machines architecture (x3, x4, x5)

• Exa Data upgrade experience, Resource Management IORM and DBRM, alerts remediation

• Upgrade and Patching support for OS, IB Switch, Storage and database nodes

• Exadata maintenance (HBA maintenance +power maintenance), Disk maintenance (Cell storage)

Monitoring and Support Activities

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting warnings, critical/fatal alerts & error messages,

• • Remedy queues for INC’s

• • OEM Monitoring

• TRT response, triage

• Monitoring DB backup’s, performing recovery as required

• Performing DB health checks

• Monitoring space issues & management activities etc.

• OS Patching Support – 4 cycles/year

• DB patching – 4 cycles/year

• Exadata patching – 2 cycle/year
