Senior Engineer – Python & AWS

Location: Bangalore

Band: B2 (3-6 years experience)

Shift Timings: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with extensive experience in Python development and cloud technologies, particularly AWS. As a key member of our dynamic team within the Industry Cloud & Digital division, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, robust cloud-based solutions that drive business success. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Python applications that meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end features aligned with business needs.
• Implement automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices to enhance code quality and release cycles.
• Analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Document technical designs, processes, and workflows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and guide team members on best practices in cloud application development.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in building scalable applications on AWS and working knowledge of related services and deployment models.
• Familiarity with the payer domain and healthcare industry regulations, enabling effective alignment of technical solutions with industry-specific requirements.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in agile teams and across multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in cloud technologies and software engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years and up to 6 years of relevant experience in software development and cloud computing.
• Mandatory expertise in Python application programming.
