Strategic thinking

At WHOOP, we’re on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives, operating at the intersection of consumer technology, healthcare, and medical innovation.

WHOOP’s legal team plays a critical role in enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly in a complex, evolving regulatory environment. We are rigorous but pragmatic, risk-aware rather than risk-averse, calm under pressure, excellent communicators, and deeply committed to being trusted partners to the business.

WHOOP is hiring an Assistant General Counsel, Healthcare to serve as the lead legal advisor supporting the WHOOP Healthcare group. In this role, you will help shape and enable healthcare strategy across operations, product development, clinical and scientific programs, marketing, partnerships, and commercialization. You will act as a strategic counselor to cross-functional teams, translating complex healthcare and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance that unlocks opportunity while maintaining compliance in a rapidly changing environment. Your experience and insights will help create new approaches and unlock opportunities for the business.

This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare attorney who brings a growth mindset, thrives in ambiguity, brings sound judgment, and can build scalable, compliant healthcare operations within an innovative technology-driven company.
