Wellstar Health System is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible General (Non-Invasive) Cardiologist to join our expanding team at the new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing program and contribute to the development of cardiovascular services in a rapidly growing region.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence in non-invasive cardiology.

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general cardiology services

  • Interpret non-invasive studies including:

  • Echocardiography

  • Stress testing

  • EKG and Holter monitoring

  • Participate in hospital rounding and consults

  • Share call responsibilities with other cardiologists in the region

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists

  • Help build and shape the cardiology service line at a new, state-of-the-art hospital

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease

  • Board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
