About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a **Vice President,**Stra tegic Initiatives Lead (Lead Business Execution consultant) in CIB to join our CAO team to drive transformative initiatives.

This opportunity will drive the development and execution of CIB CAO’s transformation strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with senior business and functional leaders across CIB. The individual will play a crucial role in driving the future of our CIB CAO division, ensuring that our strategy aligns with our clients' needs and positions Wells Fargo as a leader in financial services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in framing, designing and delivering complex projects related to CAO related scope (business management, technology enablement, corporate real estate, support functions, process reengineering etc.) within CIB businesses along with a strong understanding of change and stakeholder management.

This role will initially focus on driving the CIB Real Estate Transformation agenda along with other smaller priority initiatives. This candidate will be required to work closely with our Business and Enterprise partners to actively manage a streamlined book of work, communicate proactively on the change agenda, manage execution and BAU risks, and increase the quality of services provided to CIB stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Support and develop horizontal, cross-functional core teams responsible for centralizing enterprise-wide processes to improve consistency, transparency, and data accuracy across CIB
  • Oversee and execute on a portfolio of strategy and business management projects which lead to business outcomes that drive progress on key goals through data
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Drive the centralization and automation of data-centric processes previously managed manually or independently across multiple organizational units
  • Craft clear and compelling narratives by leveraging creative data visualization and storytelling to enable opportunity prioritization, recommendations, and broad consensus, which ultimately influences the strategic agenda
  • Partner and support the strategy, execution, and operations staff within the group

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced level knowledge of the Investment Banking and Corporate Banking business
  • Experience executing large research projects on complex topics with clear deliverables and recommendations
  • Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau to develop solutions
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations and reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, communicate ideas and results effectively, and drive consensus throughout the organization
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and act with urgency when supporting leadership requests
  • Ability to lead projects from inception to execution with minimal oversight

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
