About the role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking Senior Software Engineer to work in Home Lending Technology in Consumer Technology Line of Business.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ .NET, .NET Core, C#
- 5+ Unit Testing n Unit/x Unit
- 5+ Angular hands on experience
- 5+ SQL Server
- 3+ Playwright Automation experience
- 4+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 3+ working experience in GIT and GIT Actions
- 4+ TFS Pipelines experience
- 1+ Knowledge of AI Coding accelerators ex: GitHub Copilot
- 5+ Agile and Scrum processes
- 3+ Apache Kafka experience.
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and Access DB/UI is a plus
- Cloud Computing concept and OCP fundamentals
Harness deployments - Azure Cloud knowledge
- Microservice based application, Microservice principles and Patterns
- Experience working in Test Automation
- Analysis and Design experience of complex systems.
- PL/SQL development
- Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Postman
- Working knowledge of APM tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, experience with MS Office and Teams.
Job Expectations:
- Partner closely with Product Owners and contribute to story refinements, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and maximize user and customer value
- Ensure alignment with Wells Fargo Technology standards, Banking Platform Architecture, and long-term modernization strategies (cloud readiness, AI adoption, data strategy)
- Comply to Agile and DevOps practices, enabling faster, safer, and more predictable delivery cycles
- Identify and mitigate technology, operational ensuring platform stability, performance, and compliance
- Collaborate with solution engineers, security teams, and other scrum team to evaluate and integrate new technologies and services
- Adopt and contribute in working using AI tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery outcomes across the applications of post close automation and Loan transfer Onboarding.
