About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Automation, GenAI and Agentic AI to design, build, and deploy end-to-end intelligent automation solutions by combining RPA, workflow platforms, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience integrating automation platforms with modern LLMs and AI agent frameworks across cloud-agnostic environments (Google, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent).

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Intelligent Automation, RPA, and enterprise software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Intelligent Automation and RPA tools (Ui Path) equivalent).
• Hands-on expertise in low‑code/no‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboard design and preparation
• End-to-end automation lifecycle experience including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Hands-on programming expertise in Python or equivalent, object oriented/functional languages for building and integrating AI-driven solutions with appropriate design patterns, SOLID principles hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts including prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM integration.
• Experience working with LLM platforms such as Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent.
• Agentic AI development experience using frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Google ADK, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
• Experience integrating solutions using REST APIs, databases, message queues, and enterprise systems.
• Preferred Certifications-RPA and low‑code/no‑code certifications(Ui Path, Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform),GenAI or LLM certifications,Cloud AI certifications (Google, Microsoft, AWS), or equivalent industry‑recognized credentials.

Job Expectations:

• Good to have any vector DB such as Azure AI search/Pinecone/FAISS index
• Good to have: Kubernetes, docker and Helm
• Strong understanding of AI agent orchestration, including building multi‑agent systems, memory, and reasoning patterns.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including AI/LLMOps, version control, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and resilient enterprise solutions.
