About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Desktop and Banking Systems Support Engineer to join our team in Tokyo.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing and troubleshooting all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with local and global vendors for implementation and problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with local and regional teams and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Manage full lifecycle of data center projects
• Assist on planning and managing infrastructure projects
• Primary support for Colo facilities

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Desktop Support (most preferably trading floor and executive support experience)
• Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 admin and troubleshooting – Including MS Entra and Intune admin and troubleshooting
• Video Conference, Mobile and remote device support
• Incident Management and SLA driven uptime
• Managing and maintaining physical Technology Infrastructure
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Japanese
• Knowledge and or experience of Generic and LLM AI

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cloud services and architecture
• Scripting for operations
• Project Management skills
• Agile/Jira/Confluence
