About This Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Platform Technology Center (PTC) Systems Operations Manager within our Technology organization. This role is responsible for managing systems operations functions that support enterprise platforms and infrastructure. The manager will lead a team of Tech Ops analysts, partner with internal stakeholders, and ensure systems reliability, operational efficiency, and alignment with compliance and risk management requirements.

In This Role, You Will

  • Manage a Systems Operations team of analysts responsible for monitoring installed systems and infrastructure

  • Engage with stakeholders and internal partners across the Systems Operations functional area

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase system efficiency and reduce manual intervention

  • Make decisions and resolve issues related to operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectives

  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with compliance and risk management requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology partners, and external vendors

  • Manage and support mid‑ to highly experienced analysts

  • Allocate people and financial resources for Systems Operations

  • Mentor and guide the development of direct reports and support hiring activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education

  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or infrastructure platforms across multiple technologies or environments

  • Strong understanding of systems monitoring, operational tooling, and incident management, including on‑call support and escalation models

  • Experience driving automation and operational efficiency initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability

  • Experience working in a regulated or risk‑managed environment, with awareness of compliance and control requirements

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across technology and business teams
