Drive disciplined execution across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring commitments are met and issues are surfaced early.
Governance & Operating Routines
-
Own and run execution routines, governance forums, and operating cadences in support of SWIFT and cross‑functional WISE initiatives.
-
Track decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items; ensure timely follow‑through and escalation where needed.
-
Apply enterprise execution frameworks and standards consistently while tailoring approaches to fit initiative complexity.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
-
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across Payments, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external partners.
-
Influence without authority in a highly matrixed environment to align priorities, manage trade‑offs, and drive decisions.
-
Communicate execution status, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders and governance bodies.
Payments Expertise & Problem Solving
-
Apply knowledge of global payments, wire processing, SWIFT, and industry standards to inform execution decisions and risk assessments.
-
Proactively identify execution risks, gaps, and constraints; drive resolution through structured problem‑solving and collaboration.
-
Navigate evolving regulatory and technology landscapes while maintaining momentum and delivery discipline.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
-
Coordinate dependencies across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and vendors to enable integrated and timely delivery.
-
Actively participate in planning and delivery forums (e.g., PI planning, release readiness, execution reviews) to support alignment and execution confidence.
-
Support change integration efforts to ensure operational readiness and stakeholder adoption.
Operational Risk & Continuous Improvement
-
Identify risks associated with change execution and partner with Risk and Compliance stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
-
Recommend improvements to execution processes, governance models, and delivery practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and outcomes.
-
Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and shared ownership across the execution team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business execution, strategic planning, product management, change delivery, process management, agile delivery, or related experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications
-
Experience supporting payments, wires, or global transaction platforms within financial services.
-
Familiarity with payment messaging standards, including SWIFT and ISO 20022.
-
Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Operations to embed regulatory and industry requirements into execution and delivery.
-
Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear execution plans.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑ready updates and materials.
-
Ability to operate effectively in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining strong execution discipline and attention to detail.
