Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. This role follow a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Manager of Fleet & Event Response.

You will:

• Develop a deep understanding of the Regulatory Reporting landscape affecting Waymo

• Determine what tools and process improvements are needed to efficiently meet all Regulatory Reporting requirements and operations needs

• Work with engineers, UX and DS to automate reporting as much as possible

• Understand the role of each cross-functional team (operations, safety, on-call, regulatory, and legal, TPM) in all events that are of interest to regulators

• Develop a clear point of view on goals and prioritization, including success metrics

You have:

• BS degree in Computer Science degree or related technical degree

• 5+ years of product management experience at a highly technical, large scale organization

• Strong bias-to-action, independence, and ability to execute

• Demonstrated ability to develop a roadmap out of a large, unstructured space

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

We prefer:

• MBA degree and/or consulting experience

• Technically adjacent skills such as prior engineering or PM on technical product experience

• Experience working with legal and public policy

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
