Your New Role…

The Sr. Financial Analyst will support the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of Profit & Loss statements for the US Networks segment across multiple cycles, including Actuals, Forecast, and Plan.

This role plays a key part in monthly financial close activities, partnering closely with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business performance, explain variances, and deliver insights that support decision-making.

Additionally, this role will contribute to process improvements, ad hoc analysis, and the enhancement of financial systems and tools.

Your Role Accountabilities…

3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Smart View).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at different levels.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with business partners.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a focus on continuous process improvement.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities…

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles by consolidating and analyzing P&L statements across US Networks.
• Perform tie-outs and ensure accuracy across financial systems during planning and reporting cycles.
• Analyze actuals vs. forecast/plan/prior year and provide clear variance explanations and actionable insights.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams during monthly close to understand business drivers and key financial movements.
• Prepare forecast trending schedules, key metrics, and management reporting.
• Provide commentary and respond to inquiries from Finance leadership and business stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance consolidation reports and analytical tools to improve business visibility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ensure a strong control environment through proper documentation, reconciliations, and review processes.
• Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and additional finance-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Experience…

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or finance.
• Experience with SAP, Smart View, or similar financial systems is preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
