Your New Role...

CNN International is seeking a Writer to join our Atlanta newsroom. In this fast-paced role, you'll be the heart of live news production, helping shape how stories are told across platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Craft compelling news stories, including voiceovers, package tosses, segments, opens and teases.

• Produce clear, high-volume, high-quality copy under tight deadlines.

• Collaborate seamlessly with producers, editors, and newsroom teams to deliver accurate, engaging journalism.

• Apply strong news judgment and writing skills in both the control room and newsroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.

• Minimum two years of Writing experience, or successful completion of CNN's Writer training program.

• Strong understanding of international news and proven experience handling global stories with accuracy and clarity.

• Demonstrated knowledge of- and active engagement with social media as a tool for news gathering and story telling.

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
