About the Team:
Our team serves as the Center of Excellence for asynchronous messaging across the organization. We design, build, and evolve a global event streaming platform that enables teams to build reliable, scalable, event-driven systems.
We treat messaging as a platform product, not just infrastructure. Our mission is to make event-driven architecture secure, scalable, and easy to adopt for engineering teams worldwide.
We build and operate a Kafka-as-a-Service platform on Confluent Cloud, supporting high-throughput telemetry pipelines, business-critical event streams, and large-scale data processing systems.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about distributed systems, platform engineering, and cloud automation to help evolve our messaging platform and guide the adoption of event-driven architecture across the organization.
Meet Our Team
We are a team of platform engineers specializing in distributed asynchronous messaging systems. Our engineers range from Junior to Staff level and work together to build reliable messaging infrastructure that powers critical business systems.
What defines our team:
-
We build platform capabilities, not just infrastructure.
-
We emphasize automation, reliability, and self-service developer experiences.
-
We design systems for global scale, high throughput, and fault tolerance.
-
We establish messaging standards and architectural patterns used across the company.
-
We collaborate closely with application teams to help them adopt event-driven systems effectively.
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the platform, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring other engineers on distributed systems and messaging best practices.

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
-
5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
-
Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or Go.
-
Hands-on experience with Kafka administration or operations (Confluent Cloud preferred).

Experience designing or operating distributed systems in production.
-
Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
