Within Disney Signature Experiences, the Disney Cruise Line team delivers end-to-end digital and physical experiences for both Guests and Cast Members. This includes leading technology initiatives across the fleet, supporting core platforms, the Disney Cruise Line website, and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app, while serving multiple lines of business both shoreside and onboard.

What You Will Do:

This Manager of Product Management role sits within the e Commerce and Reservation Management technology segment, focused on pre-Cruise shopping and planning experiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management, this role defines and delivers the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes in close partnership with Product, Technology, and Business Operations teams, with clear ownership of product direction and value realization.

This role leads a team of Product Managers working within the framework of an agile product operating model, providing coaching and direction to ensure consistent, high-quality product practices. The Manager is accountable for product vision, prioritization, and aligning business objectives, Guest experience standards, compliance, and technology execution across teams – while delivering measurable business outcomes including conversion, revenue growth, Guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration in a matrixed organization, the ability to manage competing priorities, and comfort operating across both strategic and executional levels. The role translates complex technologies into intuitive, high-quality products, drives continuous improvement, and ensures alignment across portfolio delivery, budgets and resource allocation. It also balances near-term optimization with long-term platform evolution and innovation.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Own and govern the product vision, strategy and roadmap at the program/portfolio level, for the pre-Cruise commerce and planning experiences, aligning Guest needs with downstream Cast and operational impacts, business objectives, and technology capabilities.

  • Lead and develop a team of (3-7) Product Managers, fostering a high-performing, value-driven culture, grounded in a strong product mindset and accountability for outcomes. Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and performance management, supporting career growth and capability development.

  • Drive roadmap alignment and prioritization across the shoreside core platforms and experiences portfolio, making trade-off decisions and sequencing work to maximize value.

  • Establish and reinforce product management best practices from discovery through iterative delivery within an Agile operating model, including leadership of Program Increment (PI) Planning and related ceremonies.

  • Promote a product culture that is curious, customer-centric, and data-informed. Establish product governance practices that leverage analytics, experimentation, AI/ML-driven insights, human-factor psychology, and customer insights to guide decisions, measure outcomes, and provide visibility into delivery health, and business impact.

  • Partner with Engineering, UX, Data, and Architecture teams to align product direction with technical execution, managing dependencies, risks, enterprise considerations.

  • Serve as the primary product leader for pre-Cruise e Commerce, aligning stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Technology, resolving conflicts and driving consensus on priorities and outcomes.

  • Oversee portfolio financials, including budget management, forecasting, resource allocation to ensure predictable delivery and value realization.

  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and performance to senior leadership, providing clear insights, reporting, and recommendations.

  • Drive continuous improvement by evolving processes, tools, and team capabilities to increase efficiency, quality, and speed to market.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of product management experience, including 5+ years delivering complex technical products, enterprise platforms, or distributed systems in close partnership with engineering teams.

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct people management within Agile product teams, or equivalent experience leading through influence in a matrix environment.

  • Proven ability to lead product strategy and execution for multiple products or large-scale initiatives – from product definition through technical delivery and continuous iteration.

  • Strong technical fluency in modern software architectures, including APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON), microservices, distributed data systems, and containerization technologies.

  • Deep experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities and release strategies into business value.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, leveraging product analytics, KPIs, monitoring, and operational metrics to strategize, prioritize, and evaluate impacts.

  • Experience with experimentation and experience analytics, including A/B testing, competitive and consumer research, and behavioral analysis using tools such as Contentsquare.

  • Experience with modern product, engineering, analytics, and financial tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Splunk, Axe DevTools, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, Tableau, Launch Darkly, Contentsquare, MyPPM, Smartsheet, and emerging AI-enabled product and analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences, and collaborate effectively with distributed, external, bi-coastal, and international teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast and manage budgets, using financial data to inform planning and influence investment decisions.

  • Proven ability to navigate complexity, resolve conflicts, negotiate priorities, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a related field.

  • Strong understanding of consumer product experience design, with the ability to build solutions that support multiple user groups including internal teams, travel agents, and direct-to-consumer Guests.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation, including data integrity and testing requirements for regulatory standards and best practices, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) rules, internal audit controls, general ledger, payment, and fraud controls.

  • Experience evaluating emerging technology solutions and companies for fit and viability against use cases.

  • Familiarity with applying AI/ML technologies to enhance digital experiences, including personalization, predictive analytics, or content optimization.

  • Experience working with Disney technology platforms, including Disney Cruise Line’s applications, Seaware, and shared platforms including GAM, Profile/F&F, the Adaptive Payment Platform, and the suite of asset management tools.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing performance and optimization, including SEO, social media campaign measurement, AI-driven content insights, and media attribution models.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field, or equivalent experience in product management across Guest Experience, e Commerce, and/or related fields.
