Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Associate Safety Specialist to support workplace safety across a dynamic, multi-site operational environment. This role will assist in ensuring compliance with safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing risks associated with ongoing operations and project works.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and audits
• Review and assess risk assessments, safe work procedures, and safety documentation
• Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Identify hazards and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented
• Provide practical safety advice and guidance to staff and contractors

Requirements

• Able to commit 3 working days per week, with flexibility to support night shifts (about once per week) and work on public holidays based on operational needs

• In possession of Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA)

• 2 years’ relevant safety experience in workplace or operational environments

• Good understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices

• Experience working with contractors and multiple stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying work schedules

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills'
