Position Summary...
The Regional General Manager provides leadership across a multi‑facility distribution center network, driving safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations. This role is responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring consistent execution of operational standards, developing leaders, and delivering strong performance across safety, service, quality, and financial results.
The Regional General Manager partners closely with Supply Chain, Home Office teams, and facility leadership to strengthen network performance, drive continuous improvement, and support Walmart’s mission to serve customers and communities.
What You’ll Do:
Lead regional distribution center operations to achieve goals related to safety, service, quality, compliance, and cost
Set and execute regional business plans aligned to network and enterprise priorities
Oversee staffing, workload planning, and performance execution across multiple facilities
Manage financial performance, including budgets, expenses, asset utilization, and reporting
Ensure compliance with logistics, safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Lead, coach, and develop distribution center leaders; support hiring, promotion, and succession planning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standard work, and adoption of new technologies
Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Inventory, and Home Office teams
Investigate and resolve escalated associate, customer, and supplier concerns
Represent the region through community engagement and company‑sponsored initiatives

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 3 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 5 years experience in a senior management role as an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
