About the Role:

Walmart Connect seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Account Strategy to build, plan,and execute strategic advertising solutions, leveraging our proven conversion-driven and brand-building offerings. Reporting to an Account Strategy Lead, you will utilize your expertise in digital advertising, media planning, and account management to drive the success and growth of omnichannel ad campaigns. This role is both strategic and tactical, requiring an ability to understand brand marketing objectives at a high level, translate them into actionable tactics, and deliver measurableresults. The Senior Manager, Account Strategy serves as the key expert in media, audience strategy, and account project management, responsible for strategic planning and client relationship stewardship.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and execution for managed-service and self-service
    campaigns.Act as a consultative advisor and subject matter expert on media planning, audience strategies, platform activation, and campaign optimization.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to develop data-driven proposals
    aligned with client goals.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, demonstrating trust, credibility, and
    delivering exceptional service.
  • Lead campaign kick-offs, creative processes, measurement workflows, and client
    performance discussions.
  • Identify growth opportunities and optimizations to drive additional revenue.
  • Communicate campaign metrics, insights, and optimization recommendations
    regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Media Insights teams to measure and generate actionable campaign insights.
  • Facilitate prompt resolution of internal and external issues, ensuring seamless
    execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior team members, setting an example and driving operational
    excellence.
  • Develop best practices and proactively share learnings within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communication, or related
    field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing digital media campaigns, client relationships,
    and account strategies.
  • Deep understanding of digital media metrics (CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR) and media
    math for optimization.
  • Proven client-facing experience with proactive identification of risks and effective
    communication of solutions.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort navigating rapidly evolving environments and ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and ability to
    lead client meetings confidently.
  • Tactical and strategic thinking capabilities to influence clients' investments in
    Walmart media and advertising.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
  • Extensive expertise in programmatic advertising, including DSPs, DMPs, ad
    exchanges.
  • Proven track record in developing strategies that influence advertiser investment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, or Power BI

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
