What you'll do...
Role summary:
The Manager, Strategy & Operations will lead business strategy, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of the Spark Driver experience. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, owning the development of a multi-year roadmap to improve driver satisfaction, retention, and activation.
You will partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Tech, and Operations to identify high-impact opportunities, build scalable solutions, and ensure seamless execution across the driver lifecycle. This role is critical to enabling sustainable growth, improving end-to-end processes, and establishing the frameworks, governance, and insights needed to deliver a best-in-class driver experience.
About the team:
The Driver Experience team focuses on enhancing the engagement of gig contractors through the Spark Driver App. The team works collaboratively across functions to develop innovative solutions, lead strategic initiatives, and manage projects aligned with business objectives. By leveraging strong operational and analytical skills, the team drives improvements that strengthen the overall value proposition and support Walmart’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year strategy and roadmap to improve driver experience. Build compelling business cases for new initiatives, securing leadership alignment.
- Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional programs across Product, Technology, Analytics, and Operations, driving alignment, testing, and rollout of initiatives.
- Business Mechanisms & Operating Cadence: Lead core business mechanisms including reviews, planning meetings, and operational updates.
- Operational Excellence: Establish scalable frameworks, governance, and processes to ensure efficient execution, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Data & Insights: Define and track KPIs, analyze performance, and deliver insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Driver Experience: Optimize end-to-end driver journeys and overall platform success.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, consulting, or similar roles.
- Proven end-to-end project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining KPIs, interpreting data, and driving data informed decisions.
- Expertise in building executive-level PowerPoint presentations and excel modelling.
- Demonstrated experience building business cases and partnering with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience developing and delivering executive level presentations.
- Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, and driving measurable business outcomes in ambiguous environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
