Position Summary...
As a Business Development for Data Ventures, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing strategic partnerships for Walmart Scintilla. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by selling subscriptions and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to forge long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:
-
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Walmart Scintilla subscriptions.
-
Identify and target potential clients, including retailers, manufacturers, and other businesses that can benefit from Scintilla’s offerings.
-
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
-
Client Relationship Management:
-
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
-
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Walmart Scintilla.
-
Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive subscription sales.
-
Strategic Partnerships:
-
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and develop strategic partnerships that enhance the value proposition of Walmart Scintilla.

Work closely with product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:
-
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
-
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
-
Use CRM tools to manage sales pipeline and track customer interactions.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Requires knowledge of:
-
- Syndicated Point of Sale (POS) Data Industry (e.g. NielsenIQ, Circana, SPINS, etc.)
-
Primary Research methods and analytics
-
e Commerce environments and Path-to-Purchase analytics
-
capabilities and understand of digital analytics.
-
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the data analytics or technology sector.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing strategic partnerships.
-
Strong understanding of data analytics and its applications in business decision-making.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The pay range for this position is $91,900.00 - $126,390.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
