Associate Technology: We are dedicated to creating a seamless and frictionless experience for associates throughout the Rx journey. Our focus is on upholding the highest standards of compliance and auditing, while delivering effective digital solutions that support EDLP, ensuring customer safety and making our developers proud. The Associate Technology Health & Wellness team at IDC manages multiple aspects of the pharmacy experience, both in-store and online. We oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of the programs within our scope.

What you will do:

• Drive Software architecture and deliver scalable Distributed systems.
• Technical leadership in building a complex open-stack microservices-based platform or product that is highly reliable, and scalable.
• Provide guidance in applying the right architectural design pattern for the modernization of the applications by analyzing the gaps between existing architecture and new business requirements.
• Drive automation using more adoption and maturity on the CICD stage gates for the applications.
• Drive implementation of telemetry features based on the domain requirements to improve the overall operational excellence of the application.
• Lead a team responsible for a suite of SaaS and full-stack products.
• Drive strategic technical decisions to transform our current SaaS products into homegrown full-stack products.
• Establish durable ways of working with product peers and other internal engineering teams to drive our product roadmap.
• Build and coach a team ICs and align their strengths to outcomes.
• Foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

What you will bring:

• An Engineering Degree
• B. E/B. Tech/MS in any stream
• Computer Science preferred.
• 11+ years of total experience.
• 8+ years as an engineer.
• Coding competency should be a junior developer or higher.

Tech Stack Proficiency:

• Strong backend expertise in Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, REST APIs
• Deep experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with data platforms & streaming systems (Kafka, Spark, Flink)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native systems
• Expertise in system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL like Cassandra/MongoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Deep working knowledge of all aspects of Cloud-native distributed system development.
• Technical Proficiency in one or more of the languages such as Java, Python, React Native, Node JS, React JS, GraphQL
• Experience working with micro-services architecture, distributed systems, and applying design patterns.
• Experience in all areas of engineering including DevOps, Chaos Engineering, SRE, and on-call rotations to assure service availability and operational excellence.
• Experience managing software development engineers, leaders, architects, and leading engineering projects, guiding engineering teams on engineering excellence and solid system design.
• Ability to clearly articulate a technical vision and energize engineers towards outcomes.
