
(CAN) Senior Manager, Walmart Health (IC)-Pharmacy Services & Specialty
About the role
Position Summary...
Responsible for managing and executing Pharmacy Services and Specialty Programs that deliver patient care through Pharmacist enhanced scope of practice . This includes defining annual strategies and priorities, designing and developing programs, and leading cross functional teams to implement cross channel programs within a commercial plan with the objective of driving awareness, new patient acquisition and existing patient loyalty.
What you'll do...
This role develops a market entry strategy for Pharmacy Services and the Specialty Drug Sector, aligned with overall value propositions for patients, business goals, and long-term objectives. Using industry intelligence and patient understanding, the role identifies and prioritizes opportunities for patients, accounting for sector, regulation requirements as well as inclusive of partnerships. Communicating strategy in an easy-to-understand format and laying out options with qualitative and quantitative factors is essential.
As a subject matter expert, the role monitors and evaluates relevant industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the specialty and pharmacy benefits industry. Attendance at industry conferences to identify new trends, products, vendors, and service providers may be required. The role initiates, negotiates, and manages vendor agreements and terms to drive supplier performance and develops and maintains vendor relationships.
Partnering with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, this role assists in the development of tactical plans to roll out all programs, ensuring ongoing success. The role also works with the senior team to highlight potential changes that drive incremental value or a better experience for the patient. Design and leverage dashboard tools to communicate program performance and drive program compliance with external and internal partners and operators.
The role may partner with Marketing on all patient-facing marketing elements of the program, including functional and promotional executions. Support for the creation, tracking, and re-forecasting of the annual sales budget with Merch, Ops, and Finance teams is also part of the responsibilities. Communicating and reporting results and actionable insights to appropriate cross-functional partners are essential functions of the role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree – MBA considered an asset
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Health Merchandising role
- Excellent project management experience
- Strong Analytical skills and Business acumen
- Familiarity with Kroll an asset

The pay range for this position is $109,400.00 - $150,480.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
