Performs/coordinates day-to-day functions/tasks to support the objectives and successful operation of the department & division. Develops reports and communications for executive decisions, including highly sensitive and confidential business information handled with a high level of discretion. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly utilizes case management software to receive, enter and update assignments; timely communicates with supervisor(s) the status of task completion and proactively seeks additional information or guidance when needed.
- Timely prepares and updates employment law matter electronic case files and assists with organization, analysis, report requests and case management related to employment law matters.
- Ensures timely management and compliance with legal hold program
- Assists with word processing and generates trend reports, and other general communications.
- Manages employment law group mail activity, schedules appointments and coordinates meetings; arranges audio and video conferences; reserves conference rooms and arranges set-ups.
- Maintains attorney calendar and advises attorney of appointments
- Processes expense reports and invoices; arranges check requests; monitors through completion as assigned.
- Provides legal research, case support and project assistance.
- Other administrative duties and support as assigned.
Job Responsibilities- As appropriate, responds and resolves basic issues and answers questions within understood policies and procedures. Represents the Department professionally and effectively when dealing with internal and external contacts. - Updates legal resources. Keeps management and staff informed of changes.
- Organizes and maintains department databases and files on a variety of legal subjects. Participates in specific projects as requested.
- May assist in compiling and developing the unit’s annual budget. Processes expense reports and monitor incoming invoices. Prepares forms to process and pay invoices.
- May coordinate various administrative legal projects. Participates in gathering research and generates reports as needed. Notifies project participants on timelines and completion dates. Collaborates with customers and advises regarding issues on active projects.
- May coordinate cross-functionally to accomplish tasks. Interacts with team members and peers and peers and may interact externally to provide information related to assigned tasks.
- May provide administrative support for meetings and related conferences and events, including compiling, formatting, posting and distributing materials, assisting in the preparation of presentations and developing and maintaining project files.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a corporate law department or law firm.
- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a retail environment and/or healthcare setting.

Salary Range: $27.81 - $40.77 / Hourly
