The Vox Media Ecommerce Business Development team is seeking a Senior Manager, Ecommerce Post Sale & Operations to support post-sale execution and operational leadership across direct retailer and affiliate network partnerships. This role will focus on owning finance and legal processes, high-impact initiatives, driving operational efficiency, and supporting revenue growth through strong cross-functional execution.

Vox Media is preparing to hire for an upcoming role on our Ecommerce team. While this position is not yet an active opening, we’re connecting with candidates now to build a strong pipeline and move quickly when hiring begins.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own post-sale execution and operational management for key direct retailer and affiliate network partnerships, with a focus on high-revenue campaigns and initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Partnerships to support campaign execution, optimization, and performance improvements that drive incremental affiliate revenue.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve workflows, operational processes, and scalability across ecommerce partnerships.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, documentation, and automation opportunities to support team efficiency and growth.

  • Provide operational support for ecommerce campaigns, including planning, launches, performance tracking, optimization, wrap reporting and case study creation.

  • Coordinate with Editorial, Branded Content, Audience Development, Partnerships, Finance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely campaign delivery.

  • Support affiliate link coding, QA, and ongoing content optimization in partnership with Editorial and Revenue Optimization to ensure accurate tracking and maximize monetization performance.

  • Manage and maintain accurate campaign, partner, and revenue tracking in Salesforce and Boostr, ensuring data integrity across the post-sale lifecycle and supporting forecasting, reporting, and partner reviews.

  • Analyze affiliate and campaign performance data to surface insights, identify opportunities, and inform partner and internal discussions.

  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks to support forecasting, partner performance reviews, and renewal or upsell conversations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 4–6 years of experience in affiliate operations, ecommerce partnerships, account management, or digital media/marketing operations, preferably within a publisher environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, revenue-driving campaigns and initiatives from execution through reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into actionable insights.
    Clear, effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience working with affiliate platforms such as CJ, Impact, Rakuten, ShareASale, Awin, or similar.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with Lookr, Salesforce, Boostr, Asana

  • Self-directed operator who can ramp quickly and drive work forward in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
