Job Description

What’s it all about?

We’re looking for a high-agency Senior Product Delivery Manager to join Visa Direct. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader who is passionate about developing delivery talent, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration, and enabling high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver value at pace.

What we expect of you, day to day:

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Line Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Line manage a team of Product Delivery Managers and Analysts, supporting their onboarding, training, and career development.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to delivery managers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate Visa leadership principles and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.

Delivery Execution & Performance:

  • Own the delivery of Epics assigned to one or more Tof Ts, from planning through to commercialization.
  • Partner with Product Directors and Engineering Leads to coordinate execution and roadmap alignment.
  • Monitor delivery health and performance using standardised KPIs, identifying risks and implementing mitigations.
  • Act as an escalation point for delivery blockers, facilitating resolution and decision-making across teams.
  • Ensure requirements are high quality and delivery-ready, and that commercial milestones are met.

Continuous Improvement & Agile Maturity:

  • Drive agile maturity and continuous improvement across the TofT.
  • Conduct retrospectives and implement changes to improve delivery outcomes.
  • Champion delivery excellence and scalable practices aligned with Visa’s Product Lifecycle Management framework.

This is a hybrid position based in London Paddington. This requires 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) attendance in the London office.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in programme management, Agile Delivery, or Project Management roles, preferably in a software-first Fintech or start-up environment.
-5+ years of experience as a line manager with a strong track record in coaching and career development.
-Deep understanding of Agile principles and the ability to adapt them to evolving environments.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and unblock delivery.
-Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Preferably domain knowledge in Fintech — e.g., payments, FX, transaction banking, or trading.

Preferred Qualifications:

-A self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done.
-Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
-Comfortable challenging the status quo and curious about how things work.
-Excellent written and verbal communication.
-Exceptional structure and attention to detail.
