Job Summary:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies within Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the HSE team in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Assist in developing and delivering HSE training programs for employees.
• Monitor and inspect work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Help maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection checklists.
• Participate in the development and review of HSE policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
• Assist with the implementation of environmental initiatives and waste management programs.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Strong interest in HSE principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Knowledge of local HSE regulations is a plus.
