• Cooperate with FO Lead/FO/ System/SW Architects, Software Development and Test engineers to ensure consistency relating to product supporting function.

• Define the product supporting functions with respect to boundaries, conditions and constraints

• Define system requirements for the product supporting functions.

• Ensure smooth communication between the project team and customer in regards to the product supporting functions

• Align/agree on customer requirements, drives and tracks the continuous development progress, reports the status and finally drives the release process of the product supporting function(s).

• Contribute to the Function Decomposition and supports in requirements classification and documenting them in Requirements management Tools

• Ensure the alignment of all involved development Metiers such as Function Owners, SW Architect, SW Project Manager, SW and System Test Lead, Functional Safety Engineer, SW Requirement Engineer

• Ensure that SIQs mapped in the supporting Products are answered

• Contribute to the System release Plan for the supporting functions

• In case of deviations define together with the Functional Core Team countermeasures. In case the Functional Core Team cannot solve the issue by itself escalates the topic to the System TPM and provides adequate information and proposals for decision making

• Manage the change management process in terms of QCT for all changes related to the supporting Products. Following the decision of the CCB he/she manages the implementation of the change (see above).

• Support in technical reviews / audits of the project in the respective role

• Travel as needed to customer & Valeo internal site(s)

• Strong Understanding of system engineering principles and best practices.

• Experience with Systems Change and Configuration Management

• Experience with Technical Risks Analysis

• Strong Systems Engineering Process, Methods & Tools

• Experience with System Architectural Design

• Experience with Systems Effort Estimation

• Experience with System Calibration

• Experience with Context and use case analysis

• Strong experience with IDM DOORS for requirement management

• Familiarity with Catia Magic is a plus.

Bachelor / Master degree in Embedded System / Robotics or closely-related field
