Job Description:

Define the software architecture of the product

• Define Engineering discipline Structure of product and its components in line with platform configurator

• Ensure an optimize design to cost approach

• Check patent

• Identify and support management of technical risks of the Engineering discipline architectures in projects

• Propose constant improvement in relation with platform

Secure the product robustness, apply standards

• Enforce standards Engineering discipline solutions

• Support Engineering Discipline Design Review

• Manage the link with other Engineering disciplines / calling for hierarchical support if needed

• Capitalization of the know-how (Standardization, Specifications, technical reports, processes and guidelines)

Support Engineering discipline requirement Management

• Provides inputs and requirements to the Engineering discipline for the development

• Interface with customer for Engineering discipline architecture content

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate detailed status of technical issues with software project management and customers as needed.

• Review new software requirements and change requests and provide a detailed analysis for quality and technical understanding.

• Create estimates for software change requests and RFQs.

• Review and audit developer code changes.

• Review low level design requirements to ensure adherence to software architectural design.

• Review High level architecture design requirements for quality and understanding.

• Contribute to high level architecture design (Static and Dynamic architecture, interfaces, etc) as needed.

• Lead any software design change/reviews with the customer and other suppliers.

• Participate and support in reviews of the software integration test specification and provide guidance to resolve open findings.

• Ensure software quality through following development best practices.

• Travel up to 5% to customer sites to support software troubleshooting as required.

Key Competencies / Desired Professional Expertise

• Camera Sensor Bring up- Camera Video Pipeline Bring up across Qcom SoC , QNX

• Serializer-Deserializer expertise

• Hands on working with OVT , Samsung , ST image sensors expertise preferable

• Hands on working with TI , Maxim Ser-des expertise prefereable

• Concepts like Fsync , ISP & latency , glass to glass

• Strong Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong experience in Software development using C or C++

• Experience with Multi-core Software Architecture Design is a plus.

• Experience with diagnostics and error handling.

• Experience with functional safety or cyber security is a plus.

• Experience with Enterprise Architect/Catia is a plus.

• Experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is a plus.

• Experience with Python is a plus.
