【このポジションはどんな仕事？】

本ポジションは、自動運転システムにおけるソフトウェア機能単位の責任者（SW Function Owner）として、要件定義～実装～テストまでを一気通貫で担う“エンドツーエンド責任ポジション”です。

単なる開発担当ではなく、

「この機能は何を実現すべきか」
「その要件は正しく実装されているか」
「量産品質として成立するか」

までを担い、製品の完成度を決めるポジションです。

また、顧客・グローバルチーム・社内開発チームをつなぐハブとして、
技術・品質・進捗すべてに責任を持つ役割を担います。

【主な業務内容】◎ SW機能のエンドツーエンド責任

• 担当SW機能における要件定義・設計・実装・テストの統括

【Job Overview】

Our group is celebrating its 100th anniversary and continues to lead the industry, including developing the world’s first Level 3 autonomous driving system. To achieve further advancement, we are entering a new stage of challenge as a unified group.

We are seeking a Function Owner for the autonomous driving product, which supports the next generation of mobility.

In this role, you will lead the system design based on data from multiple sensors such as cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors. Collaborating with software and validation teams, you will ensure product quality and functional completeness throughout the entire V-model development process.

This is not just a design role you will be responsible for critical technical decisions and hold a key position that determines the overall success of the product.

【Division and Products】

Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:

　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division ：Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.

　３）Light Division ：Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.

　４）Valeo Service Division ：Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3.

This position is within the BRAIN Division.【About the Position】
This position is a Software Function Owner role within an autonomous driving system, responsible for end-to-end ownership of a specific software feature?from requirements definition to implementation and testing.

This is not a typical development role. You will be accountable for:

Defining what the feature is expected to achieve
Ensuring that requirements are correctly implemented
Guaranteeing that the feature meets production-level quality standards

As a key technical owner, you will play a central role in determining the overall quality and completeness of the product.

You will also act as a hub connecting customers, global teams, and internal development teams, taking ownership of technical delivery, quality, and progress.

【Key Responsibilities】
◎ End-to-End Ownership of SW Features

• Lead the full lifecycle of assigned software features (requirements, design, implementation, and testing)
• Translate system and customer requirements into detailed software requirements

◎ Requirements Management & Traceability

• Define and maintain Software Requirements Specifications
• Ensure full traceability from requirements through implementation and testing
• Manage change requests and requirement updates

◎ Progress & Quality Management

• Track feature development progress and maturity levels
• Manage test results and defect tracking (tickets)
• Conduct requirements reviews and deliverable validations

◎ Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and test teams
• Work closely with global teams across regions
• Ensure implementation aligns with software architecture guidelines

◎ Customer Interaction & Technical Alignment

• Engage in technical discussions with customers regarding requirements, issues, and progress
