At Valeo Power Division, we develop and validate advanced technologies that power the future of mobility. In this role, you will work directly on electric motors and electric compressors for thermal management and e-mobility applications, which are key components used in modern hybrid and electric vehicle platforms.

Your mission

We are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Engineer to join our testing and validation team. You will ensure the technical robustness, performance, and reliability of products such as electric drive motors and high-efficiency electric compressors, which are critical for vehicle propulsion and thermal management systems in next-generation vehicles.

What you will do:

• Plan, perform, and evaluate tests of electric motors and electric compressors used in automotive applications

• Validate product performance across different operating conditions and customer requirements

• Analyze test data and perform engineering calculations (including worst-case and statistical analysis)

• Conduct simulations and thermal/performance studies related to electromechanical systems

• Support design, integration, and validation of components from prototype phase to final release

• Participate in design reviews with internal engineering teams and external suppliers

• Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates on validation progress

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing, validation, or product development (automotive or electromechanical engineering preferred)

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and basic thermodynamics

• Hands-on experience with electric motors, compressors, or similar electromechanical systems

• English language on a communicative level

• Ability to analyze complex technical data and solve engineering problems

• Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style

• Willingness to occasionally travel for project-related activities and technical meetings
