Accountable for :

• Responsible for Design and CAD support for Gearbox products inline with the standards/process

• Develop and generate 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for new and enhanced reducer/gearbox assemblies and components.

• Collaborate with motor and vehicle integration teams to ensure system-level compatibility.

• Ensure gearbox designs meet regulatory and safety standards.

• Assist in the preparation of technical data packages for design reviews and Calculations

• Design of components inline with DFM casting & Plastic requirements

• Able to apply geometric functional & Tolerancing & validate the same by stackup analysis

• Design support for proto samples & Testing/Process Fixtures

• Ensure quality deliverables before delivery

• Contribute to the efficiency improvement by producing fast or automated processes

• Apply CAD methodologies and manage product definition file into PLM

• Ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation

Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies

• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up

• Reports the progress of his tasks

• Escalate risks
