At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions—including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Governance:

Plan, monitor, and control activities according to internal design rules and the CLEAN Project Management (CPM) flow.

  • Design & Validation Oversight:

Ensure robust design and validation in line with economic targets. You will review internal and customer requirements to ensure 100% alignment.

  • Technical Leadership:

Prepare and lead Engineering Discipline validation reviews. Perform or support complex calculations, simulations, and coding for acceptance tests.

  • Budget & Resource Management:

Establish detailed breakdowns of activities, identify resource and equipment needs, and strictly monitor spending to meet milestones and allowed budgets.

  • Customer Interface:

Act as the primary technical point of contact for the customer regarding the Test and Validation content.

  • Escalation & Reporting:

Report progress and escalate technical or timing risks to the Product Technical Manager/Leader.

Requirements:

  • Education:

Technical university degree in Engineering (Bachelor's or higher)

  • Experience:

Solid background in Automotive or Laboratory environments (leadership experience or high potential is key)

  • English:

Autonomous/Professional level (B2/C1)

  • Polish:

Autonomous/Professional level (B2/C1)

  • Quality Toolkit:

knowledge of documentation and quality methods (8D, PDCA-FTA, 5 Why).

  • Leadership Traits:

Excellent communication skills, high flexibility, and the ability to manage both people and processes under project pressure.
