Mission:

Under the supervision of the Catalogue & Information Manager, as product data expert the database trainee is responsible for the building and maintenance of the Valeo product database and cataloguing for the Aftermarket offer:

• Reliability of our catalogue database, for its specific product lines or territory, based on Technical analysis and competition & car manufacturers catalogue analysis

• Maximum completion data accuracy based on park coverage and competitors.

• Contribution to product data analysis in order to support the product line management

He/she becomes an expert in his or her product line or territory, and understands the specific catalogue and technical issues

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the Product Data quality: Responsible of the catalogue data of his/her product line or country in the region, its accuracy, completion and global quality:

• Responsible for updates of our key-data: vehicle links, cross-lists, technical features, pictures

• Responsible for the maximum completion of products and applications data.

• Ensure the consistency and stability of our data.

1. Participates in marketing needs through data studies:

• Through data analysis, in conjunction with the Regional Product Marketing Managers, he/she participates in the analysis of supplier ranges or product lists submitted by the market.

• Built market analysis tools to measure market potential at part number level, based on vehicle data bases

• Participates in the launch and creation of certain products through the validation of product data (“digital initial sample validation”) Product or territory expertise.

• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in the market data.

• Develop insights and recommendations based on the market data analysis.

• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings.

• Work with other teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Recent graduate of year 2025 and 2024

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Arabic (written and verbal communication is essential). French is a strong plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience with data analysis tools, including Excel and Google Sheets.

• Experience with Power Query or Python is a plus.
