Job Summary:

As a Trainee Quality at VALEO SYLVANIA ILUMINACION, S.de R.L de C.V., you will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. You will support the Quality team in ensuring product excellence and adherence to established standards and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformities.
• Support the collection and analysis of quality data, including defect rates, rework, and scrap.
• Participate in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions.
• Learn and apply various quality control techniques and methodologies (e.g., SPC, 8D problem-solving).
• Assist in maintaining quality documentation, records, and reports.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement quality improvements.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program (e.g., industrial, mechanical, electrical), quality management, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of quality principles and tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
