UTA IQ seeks a Manager, Client Strategy to work at the intersection of social media, entertainment, and analytics. As UTA’s data, insights, and strategy division, IQ develops strategies and insights that drive cultural relevance, audience engagement, and business growth for world-class talent and brands.
In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to talent and brand clients across all verticals—from film, TV, music, and sports to digital creators, authors, and thought leaders. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, harnessing data and cultural insights to architect forward-thinking, high-impact solutions that build marketability and fuel innovation in today’s dynamic media ecosystem. The position is based in either Los Angeles or New York City.
The ideal candidate brings a sophisticated understanding of both legacy and creator-driven media, with a knack for anticipating what’s next. You are deeply tuned into digital culture, a savvy navigator of emergent trends, and capable of steering strategy at both the micro and macro levels. You combine big-picture vision with rigorous attention to detail, thrive in collaboration, and excel in high-stakes, client-facing environments.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do:

Lead the data-driven strategy process for clients, transforming insights from analytics into actionable recommendations and bespoke strategies.

Partner with talent and brands to craft online identities, deepen audience engagement, expand digital revenue streams, and guide them through the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Develop high-impact pitch materials and data-driven narratives that articulate client value and marketability.

Analyze performance of digital campaigns and projects, providing insights and reports that inform both tactical pivots and long-term growth strategies.

Surface and forecast trends from a wide range of sources (social media, audience data, cultural moments) to inform innovative business strategies for clients.

Advise clients on leveraging emerging platforms and monetization channels (e.g., newsletters, fan communities, social commerce, courses).

Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment and creative excellence.
What You Will Need:
-
Experience: 6+ years’ experience in entertainment, media, technology, or a data-driven digital role. Expert-level proficiency in data analysis, social media strategy, brand strategy, and performance analytics.

Social Media/Creator Economy: Fluency in all major social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, Snapchat, Threads, and Pinterest), as well as creator economy platforms (e.g. Substack, Shop My, Patreon).

Deck Building: Experience building visually engaging decks that communicate data-driven recommendations to both creative and business stakeholders.

Presentation Skills: Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities, turning insights into strategies that resonate with creative and business audiences.

Client Relations: Advanced relationship management skills, with a history of delivering impactful solutions for high-profile clients.

Efficiency: Skilled at managing multiple deliverables, setting priorities, and executing with precision under tight deadlines.

Analytical Skills: Experience with analytics platforms such as You Scan, Tubular, Demographics Pro, or similar, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Strategic Thinking: Strategic and analytical mindset - you can spot trends, interpret data, and translate insights into compelling narratives and business outcomes.

Intangible skills: Strategic vision, creative execution, collaborative leadership, analytical rigor, precision in detail, strong written and verbal communication.

Basic Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint), Slack, Box, Airtable, or similar.
